My name is Alexia, and I have been a long-time cat lover since I was introduced to my first kitty at two years old. Like many of you, I view my cats as a piece of my family and heart, not just a “pet.” Growing up analyzing my interactions and feelings towards cats, I learned how much they teach us without even talking! They require patience, empathy, and, most importantly, remind us to slow down. I have the pleasure of my cat Maggie’s presence in my life, as she has made me discover just how deeply owning a cat can influence our own emotional well-being and even how we connect with others.
