 Wedding Photography

I have had the privilege of being able to photograph three weddings , two of which I teamed up with a partner to capture the magical days. I got to work with my aunt, Synetha Robinson, who has been a photographer for 10+ years and taught me all about photography.

Senior Portraits

During my Senior Year of high school, I got really into photography and began my photography business and Instagram page, where I ran the account and got clients through marketing my page on multiple social media platforms. My business has continued throughout my college career.

Brand Photography

I was given the opportunity to attend a session at an all women gym called 30 Minute Hit where I got to capture the amazing work ethic these strong women possess. I also took photos for a salon called Nicole Bryan where the images were used on their social media platforms. As well as personal brand shoots

Videography

I started making YouTube videos when I was in the fourth grade. I love the creativity that comes with it as I get to capture such beautiful moments in my life and create a story with them. My YouTube channel is a place that one day I will be able to look back on and reminisce about different stages in my life.

Social Action Project

For this video, I was asked to create a social action project for my communications class in college. We were told to pick a topic we are passionate about to make a real world change. My partner Haley and I chose the topic of how growing up with a parent who abuses substances affects you as a child into an adult, creating generational problems of abuse and trauma for all involved. We are both products of a parent who abused substances and at 20 years old still dealing with the effects of what we endured as children. I interviewed 3 generations of my family including my grandmother, mom, and myself to show just how much of a generational problem substance abuse can be. I hope while watching and after this video can provide comfort for those who have experienced the same things, you are never alone in this journey and there are so many resources available in todays society that can allow you to heal from what you endured as a child.

Grew up with the exact same thing, love that you're spreading awareness of the effects it leaves.

It's a hard thing to live with and heal from, but its even harder speaking out about it and sharing your story! you are very strong and I hope your story helps other people.

Getting to talk about what I have experienced and realizing I am not alone on this journey has been the biggest accomplishment with this project. I received so many messages from people online that I have chosen to keep anonymous for their personal privacy, but seeing the impact my project had on others and being thanked for speaking out about this topic made my heart happy knowing I helped others and made them feel like they have been heard.

Engagement Project

For this final project in my Rhythm and Revolution course, we were to find some creative way to enact our philosophy of music as a tool for social change.

I decided to combine my dad and I’s skills and write a song diving into mental health, suicide, and drug awareness. These are issues that are deeply rooted in our community that go unspoken about due to the
stigmas surrounding them.
